ABOUT FRANCA

Professional Journey
My professional journey is rooted in development — of markets, organizations, and people.
I built my career in international business development, working in high-value sectors such as luxury and global consumer goods. Early on, I learned that sustainable results are not driven by strategy or technical expertise alone, but by self-awareness, relational intelligence, and an open mindset toward diversity and change.
While working in New York, I experienced how empathy and the ability to connect meaningfully with clients, teams, and stakeholders were key drivers of success. At the same time, I witnessed organizations struggle to sustain growth when cultural and relational evolution was missing.
This awareness led me to deepen my understanding of human development and leadership psychology, drawing on interdisciplinary studies and the work of scholars such as Carol Dweck, Daniel Goleman, Brené Brown, and Tasha Eurich.
In 2019, this path evolved into an educational and coaching model grounded in relational and reflective practice. Shortly after, I was appointed as faculty at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), where I designed and taught interdisciplinary courses integrating academic content with coaching skills to support students’ personal and professional growth. This work later led to a publishing contract with Cognella for the interactive textbook Meeting the Others(forthcoming).
Today, my work continues to focus on human development as a strategic asset, supporting individuals, leaders, and organizations in cultivating self-awareness, resilience, relational intelligence, and intercultural openness as foundations for sustainable growth.

I hold a Coach certification from UPBUILD Coaching, a Master’s in Management, and a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Bologna, Italy.
